Volvo Polestar Racing – No Team Orders
The Scandinavian Touring Car Championship, STCC, was founded in 1996 and is the biggest touring car racing championship in northern Europe. The championship takes place in Sweden and features 420 hp cars that share a lot of technical components in order to have close racing and to be cost effective. The race weekends feature two sprint races of 20 minutes each, making for intense sprint racing. Volvo Polestar Racing has taken part in all seasons except for 2012 since the inaugural season in 1996 and has claimed five drivers’ titles and seven teams’ titles.
