DENSO Thermal Systems S.p.A was established in 1986 in Poirino (Turin- Italy).  In June 2011 the site celebrated its 25°anniversary and from the beginning, high quality thermal products for the automotive and off-road sectors have been designed, developed, manufactured and supplied from here to a range of customers including Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Iveco, Opel, Scania, Peugeot, Citroen, Renault, Nissan, Toyota and others.

The current product range includes Compressors, HVAC (Air conditioning systems), engine cooling modules, heat exchangers (Radiator, Condenser, Heater Core) for the automotive sector and roof modules for agricultural vehicles.

Poirino site continues to expand both in terms of size and in terms of its technical capability, incorporating advanced
systems and processes for plastic molded parts, heat exchangers and assembly. At the Poirino site, in addition to the Manufacturing Facilities, there are also the Engineering Center and the thermal sales department for South Europe and the Off Road & Special Application Business Unit (BU ORSA).

Since 2005 Poirino has also been the Head Quarters of The Thermal Europe Center (TEC) and as such brings together Associates from many different backgrounds and disciplines including Sales, R&D, Quality; Process Engineering and Manufacturing.

Regional staff functions are also represented and support  thermal business in Europe, South America, India and North Africa.
